Sat. 11. Lecture in afternoon at no 11. Stationary Hosp. Percy Sargeant London Hosp. on treatment of head wounds. General discussion followed – general idea to explore all headwounds – remove all septic scalp wounds, trephine on smallest provocation – open dura – remove foreign bodies and drain. Raining

[Trephine = a cylindrical saw for removing a disk of bone, mainly used on the skull.]

[Dura = a layer of membrane beneath the skull.]
