December 24, 1915

Friday 24. In aft. walk in pine forest back of hospital. In evening rehearsal – and then bridge with Col. Archer, Hardy and Wagstaff. Col. celebrating Xmas and very squiffy. Carol singers came round from 9 – 11-30, nurses and staff. Had nurses into mess for port, sherry etc. First Xmas present, box of cigars from E.T.A.P. who has enlisted under Lord Derby Scheme.
